The AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X is the next-generation professional DJ console, launched as the successor to the popular CDJ-3000. It maintains the essence of the CDJ series, but with significant improvements in connectivity, performance, and audio quality.

Key features and improvements

• Refined performance: The Play and Cue buttons are more durable. The jog wheel has been redesigned for greater precision and response.
• Superior audio quality: Features a new digital-to-analog converter from ESS Technology, delivering clearer, crisper sound with fuller bass.
• New Performance Features: Introduces improvements to hot cues, such as Smart Kill and Gate, for greater creative control.
• Larger and improved screen: The touchscreen is now 10.1 inches, making it easier to navigate, view the waveform, and use features.

The CDJ Legacy and the Transition to AlphaTheta

Despite being a product of AlphaTheta, the new brand that succeeds Pioneer DJ, the CDJ-3000X maintains the reputation and quality expected of the CDJ line. It's a multimedia player without a CD drive, but the "CDJ" name has been retained due to the strength of the brand.

Use with software and services

It remains compatible with rekordbox software for library management and control, and supports Performance mode via HID for Serato DJ Pro. Wi-Fi connectivity allows direct access to music streaming services such as Beatport Streaming and TIDAL (may require additional licenses).
